Beauty Gadget Review: Foreo Luna
Remember back, way way back in the day when we used to use wash cloths to wash our face? (nah, I don’t either) Or how commercials use to advertise a facial cleansing products by showing a chick splashing copious amounts of water all up in her grill… ain’t no mo’! I literally have 6 tech gadgets that are part of my face washing/beauty arsenal… no, make that 7! Seriously, if it doesn’t take batteries, get that ish away from mah face! 😉
While I’m over the moon about my traditional sonic cleansing brushes, I have a new love – Foreo Luna! Instead of bristles, which harbor bacteria and require regular brush replacements, Luna uses non-abrasive silicone touch points – making it up to 35x more hygienic than standard sonic-cleansing brushes.
Luna uses T-Sonic™ Technology which equals 8,000 pulsations per minute that help gently remove dead skin cells and makeup residue, while degunking pores. It’s suuuuuuper gentle. It also feels like a wonderful massage each time you use it. I actually look forward to washing my face morning and night because I know I can bliss out for a few minutes while I get all the sh*t off my face.
If you flip this bad boy over (the back side has curvy grooves) and turn the frequency down, you’ve just activated “Anti-Aging Mode” – I use it on my wrinkle-prone areas once a week… no clue if it’s making me look younger but it sure does feel lovely on the skin.
A couple of extra features:
- It’s fully waterproof.
- It lasts up to 450 uses per full charge.
- It doesn’t require replacement brushes (as mentioned before).
- It has a 3 button interface.
- It comes with a waterproof charging port and a little storage pouch.
How to use:
Have y’all tried Foreo Luna? Thoughts? What’s your favorite facial cleaning tool?
